Hey there, I’m Rebecca and I would be honored to walk with you along your path to wellness! I am both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor. I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Couples Counseling from Walden University. Common theoretical orientations used in my practice include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Gottman Method, and mindfulness practices.
My goal as your counselor is to utilize an evidence-based and holistic approach while providing you with a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space to discuss whatever is on your mind. No problem is too big or too small, and it is often while working through the small problems that we learn how to tackle the bigger ones.
Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, work/life transitions, relationship communication and intimacy, and issues surrounding food and weight, including PCOS and other infertility concerns. I am particularly passionate about empowering women and normalizing our hormonal shifts and experiences. If any of this speaks to you, come and take off your shoes, let your hair down, and let’s chat! At this time, I am a virtual provider offering virtual appointments with CCWA.
