Hey there, I'm Rebecca and I would be honored to walk with you along your path to wellness! I am both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor. I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Couples Counseling from Walden University. Common theoretical orientations used in my practice include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Gottman Method, and mindfulness practices.
My goal as your counselor is to utilize an evidence-based and holistic approach while providing you with a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space to discuss whatever is on your mind. No problem is too big or too small, and it is often while working through the small problems that we learn how to tackle the bigger ones.
Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, work/life transitions, relationship communication and intimacy, and issues surrounding food and weight, including PCOS and other infertility concerns. I am particularly passionate about empowering women and normalizing our hormonal shifts and experiences. If any of this speaks to you, come and take off your shoes, let your hair down, and let's chat!

Erica Penny, LCMHCA Apex office (virtual options) Hello there, my name is Erica and it is a privilege to be a part of your journey toward wellness. I believe it is a lifelong journey to become our best selves and having the support of a counselor can make the journey feel more manageable and enjoyable. As a former school counselor, I thoroughly enjoy working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Although parenting can be extremely joyful, it does not come with a user’s manual, and can therefore leave us unsure what to do or how to support our children through the tumultuous times of growing into young adults. I hope to work together with you and your children to learn, grow, and be well.
I received my Masters degree at UNC-Chapel Hill in School Counseling. I have 14 years of experience as a school counselor and 17 years of experience as a parent. I am trained in Conscious Discipline and believe its’ adult-first, trauma-informed methodology is beneficial for children and adults of all ages. I use a variety of Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based, Client-Centered and Play Therapy techniques, depending on individual client needs.
Gracie Clements, LCMHCA High Point office (Virtual options) Hi, My name is Gracie. My journey of healing through therapy began because I realized how much can happen in our lives before we have access to the tools we need. Many of us don't know how much the experiences in life have contributed to the weight we carry day in and day out. You may notice something is feeling “off” and be unsure exactly how to pinpoint it or unsure of how to take the first step. All experiences, the good, the bad, and the ugly, contribute to how we show up for ourselves and others and write the pages within our book of life. Many of us suffer through anxieties, depression, pain and trauma from our experiences as well as the generations before us. I know that it can be daunting to try and sort through it all alone. Taking the first step towards therapy can feel like staring at a hurdle the size of a mountain!
Everyone has their own background story and I would be honored to stand next to you as you start your new chapter by equipping you with the tools for yourself and generations to come!
