Hey there, I’m Rebecca and I would be honored to walk with you along your path to wellness! I am both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor. I earned a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Couples Counseling from Walden University. Common theoretical orientations used in my practice include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Gottman Method, and mindfulness practices.

My goal as your counselor is to utilize an evidence-based and holistic approach while providing you with a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space to discuss whatever is on your mind. No problem is too big or too small, and it is often while working through the small problems that we learn how to tackle the bigger ones.

Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, work/life transitions, relationship communication and intimacy, and issues surrounding food and weight, including PCOS and other infertility concerns. I am particularly passionate about empowering women and normalizing our hormonal shifts and experiences. If any of this speaks to you, come and take off your shoes, let your hair down, and let’s chat!

Àṣẹ (ah-shay)! My name is Jocelyn, and I am passionate about helping others gain new perspectives and learn about their internal power. I became a mental health counselor to enlighten others about the control that they possess within and to also give them hope that no matter the circumstances, there is still joy and peace to discover in this life. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate from Greensboro, NC. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Catawba College. Over the years, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have struggled with regulating various adversities in their lives. It is my passion to continue to guide individuals in improving their mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Throughout the counseling process, I maintain a humanistic, person-centered approach while implementing solution-focused strategies and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I also love to incorporate somatic work, such as movement practices and mindfulness activities, to enhance self-awareness and develop healthy self-care habits. As a counselor, I am committed and look forward to helping individuals and families gain knowledge and tools as they discover their potential to change and begin to experience the best parts of life as a result of those changes. Welcome! I look forward to getting to know you. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor-Associate and National Board-Certified Counselor. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I also have numerous course hours of study in human development, education, art, and equestrian science. I transitioned into the field of clinical mental health counseling from a career as a horse trainer and riding instructor, during which I gained experience working with diverse clients of all ages and backgrounds. My area of specialty was working with riders to overcome trauma from previous riding accidents or traumatic events outside of equestrian activities that affected riders’ performance. My passion is helping others overcome barriers that stand in the way of their happiness and well-being.

My counseling philosophy is grounded in person-centered theory and is influenced by solution-focused, narrative, strengths-based, mindfulness, DBT, and cognitive-behavioral theories. My core belief is that people possess innate strengths, resiliency, and capacity for growth and positive change in their lives, and that counselor empathy is a vital component in the therapeutic relationship. I use collaborative discussions with clients to help them explore the connections between their experiences and emotions and how those connections can enrich their identity and help them create their preferred life narrative. I focus on client strengths to help build client-driven solutions and an individualized pathway forward, and view my role as a counselor as providing a safe space and guiding support for clients while they navigate through difficult challenges and discover areas of empowerment and growth opportunities in their lives. I enjoy working with adults (18yo+) from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and identities who experience anxiety, panic disorder, depression, trauma, PTSD, self-esteem challenges, and life challenges.

Hi, My name is Gracie. My journey of healing through therapy began because I realized how much can happen in our lives before we have access to the tools we need.  Many of us don’t know how much the experiences in life have contributed to the weight we carry day in and day out.  You may notice something is feeling “off” and be unsure exactly how to pinpoint it or unsure of how to take the first step.

All experiences, the good and bad, contribute to how we show up for ourselves and others and write the pages within our book of life.
Many of us suffer through anxieties, depression, pain and trauma from our experiences as well as the generations before us. I know that it can be daunting to try and sort through it all alone.

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel like staring at a hurdle the size of a mountain!

Everyone has their own background story and I would be honored to stand next to you as you start your new chapter by equipping you with the tools for yourself and generations to come!

Hi, my name is Sloane. I would love to walk with you on your journey toward healing. I am a
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in North Carolina and am passionate about helping people process the darkness they have walked through and gain the skills and insight
needed to live in healthy relationships with those around them.

I received a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Marriage, Family and Individual Counseling from Southeastern Seminary after
seeing the depths of pain life can hold and wanting to be equipped to begin to wade through the muck and mire of life with others. Counseling offers a space to share your story, gain understanding, get support, learn helpful skills and grow. I help couples, men, women and teenagers explore paths to healing and hope.

If you are looking for a place where you can bring in the uncomfortable emotions, unwanted reactions and unfiltered fights so we can begin to peel back the layers together I would be honored to get to work with you. There is no one size fits all approach to counseling so I utilize research-proven methods, like EMDR, DBT and EFT, and honest conversations to help you explore your past and move toward your goals. I would love to come alongside you and work together to find a way toward rest.

Austin (A.J.) Dillon, LCMHCA

(Virtual Options)

Hello! My name is Austin, and you can call me A.J.

I am happy to be here for you on your wellness journey. My passion for mental health counseling comes from the idea that on the inside, we have a unique story that is waiting to be told. Finding the right words and emotions for us to properly convey our story can be a crucial part of the process as we go on this counseling journey.

I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and my Master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development from North Carolina State University. Throughout my time in these programs, I have worked with younger teens from ages 12+ and adults of all ages as they navigate challenges and find their life’s purpose through their education, work and personal life. While experiencing anxiety and depression can be common for many, finding your own strengths and coping skills with a supportive counselor can provide a foundation for growth and writing the next part of your story.

My approach to counseling is based in a person-centered approach as well as one that is rooted in SBT (Strengths-based therapy) and positive psychology. Focusing on what is working can encourage you to take responsibility and ownership over the choices that you make and to help propel you forward toward the solution(s) that feel right for you. Holding the truth inside about our authentic selves can be an overwhelming experience. I want to provide the form of support that is right for you.

Being human alone can be hard. Being human together can be empowering.
