Jocelyn Ford, LCMHCA
High Point office and Virtual
Àṣẹ (ah-shay)! My name is Jocelyn Ford and I am passionate about helping others gain new perspectives and learn about their internal power. I became a mental health counselor to enlighten others about the control that they possess within and to also give them hope that no matter the circumstances, there is still joy and peace to discover in this life. I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate from Greensboro, NC. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Catawba College. Over the years, I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, who have struggled with regulating various adversities in their lives. It is my passion to continue to guide individuals in improving their mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
Throughout the counseling process, I maintain a humanistic, person-centered approach, while implementing solution-focused strategies and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I also love to incorporate somatic work, such as movement practices and mindfulness activities to enhance self-awareness and develop healthy self-care habits. As a counselor, I am committed and look forward to helping individuals and families gain knowledge and tools as they discover their potential to change and begin to experience the best parts of life as a result of those changes. Therapy with me will provide an opportunity for you to be yourself, welcome new perspectives and to renew your lifestyle. Together, we will just simply relax and take the time to become whole again.

Jaclyn Fortier, LCMHCS
I am the founder and consulting supervisor of Carolina Counseling Wellness Associates. I provide clinical mental health care for individuals recovering from PTSD and domestic violence, clinical supervision, as well as mentorship and training with our practicing associates.
I have been a counselor since 2008 and have witnessed the professional growth of our field and how mental health care has evolved is encouraging. I have been inspired at how much has changed in mental health care access, such as insurance coverage and increased accessibility. The efforts to reduce stigma for mental health has been getting national attention. We still have a lot more to do and we are dedicated at CCWA to be a mission focused group, demonstrating the benefits that mental health care can provide.
My mission is to help end the mental health stigma and provide a place for healing in our community. Learn more about our story here.
