Jaclyn Fortier, LCMHC
My practice case load is currently full and openings are expected for January 2021. Check back then. I have a waiting list that you may get on although we do not recommend this option for crisis and urgent needs.
I have clinical experience working with anxiety, family conflict, and domestic violence recovery. I specialize working with women, adolescents, and families.
We work together with techniques that are evidenced based and proven to alleviate issues such as relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. .
I love working with others to find their voice and center their lives using their natural intuition within to facilitate long term permanent growth and change.
We determine together which method of treatment would benefit you most. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction have been found helpful by many of my clients. Therapy with me, I have been told, is inspiring and energetic. I have a passion for empowerment of others and helping reduce the negative chatter and stress in their lives. I have experience working in a clinical recovery setting with trauma, addictions, and domestic violence prevention. Family sessions with conflict reduction and communication skills practice are offered as an integration to our individual session work often.
Since 2015, I have been the practice owner of Carolina Counseling Wellness Associates which offers comprehensive mental health services for various needs in the Research Triangle area in Apex North Carolina.
I offer clinical supervision for counselors working towards full licensure and I am a board approved qualified supervisor. Email me for information on supervision and if I currently have space in my supervision program.
